The Last Day

I firstly gave my present to the staff and they were so happy with it.

Before lunch I organised the office , bought decorations for the salon and decorated it and helped around with different things in the office.

After lunch I went to the shop and the chemist to buy different products, cleaned nail varnish products and answered the phone at the reception desk.

At the end of the day my supervisors gave me a me2you teddy & mug, a card and a gift voucher for all treatments.

I was so sad to leave as I really bonded with my supervisors and enjoyed my experience so much. Luckily I will be dropping in over the Christmas holidays and other times.

I also got a babysitting job out of it and offered to help them any day they needed help

The 2nd Last Day

Today before lunch I sorted the office and got an hour and a half long facial before lunch. The facial was so relaxing and I also learned how to do a full facial.
After lunch I made a competition on facebook, helped out around the office and also handed leaflet out outside the salon.
The day was one of my favourite days and I enjoyed it a lot. I am sad to leave the salon as I enjoyed my experience so much and also got along well with the staff.

8th day

This day was a calm day as the Beauty House had a M.S charity fundraiser and were wrecked after the night.
I organised the place back to normal and relaxed with the supervisors. 
After lunch I divided the Yon-ka products into different envelopes by there name. I also relaxed and chatted with my supervisors. 
I enjoyed the day and I am looking forward to next week as I will be starting to learn more things e.g facial

The Sixth Day

It was weird being back as no one was in work experience last week because of the Halloween mid-term so it felt like ages since I had been in work.
I started off the day by helping around and typing up clients details & details about their course.
After lunch I got my shellac nails removed and one of my supervisors did shellac nails on me again. I also typed out notes for one of my supervisors for her evening course and helped around the place again.
The day went quick and it was yet another enjoyable day :)

5th Day

This week I started off the day by learning how to do shellac nails. I learned fully how to do it and enjoyed learning it. One of my supervisors also learned at the same time as me , for her first practice she did my nails for me. She was very good for her first time and they turned out lovely.
After lunch I sat in on a girl doing nail design on the supervisor. I organised the place and helped around. I helped to stick posters up on the wall and changing the lights. I went to the shop for one of my supervisors also.
The day flew and I enjoyed yet another day.

The 4th Day of the World of Work

On my 4th day I was in at 10 o ' clock as usual. 
I went to the shop a few times throughout the day to get different things for my supervisor's. Before lunch I also shared the facebook page of The Beauty House around in mail among my friends.
At 1 o' clock I went for lunch and was back for 2 o' clock.
I went to colourtrend with one of my supervisor's to pick out wallpaper and paint for a treatment room. We picked out purple and silver wallpaper and silver paint with a purple tint. 
I went to the shop again for my supervisor and it was very embarassing as I came back with the wrong item. I then went back to Tesco to get a refund and buy the right thing.
The day unfortunately went by very fast and the day was fun as I did different things throughout the day.

The 3rd Day

When I arrived at 10 o' clock I firstly got to sit around and relax. I then organised rooms neatly and then moved around items into different parts of the salon. I sat at reception incase anyone rang the phone.

I went for lunch at 12 o' clock and came back at 1 o' clock.

When I came back after lunch I got to look through some beauty books e.g make-up artist book. I also relaxed for a while and talked to the staff and customers.

For an hour or 2 I transferred names and numbers from one appointment book to another. I was finished at 4 o' clock and said goodbye to the staff and customers.

The day had flew by but I had enjoyed the day and I am looking forward to the next few weeks there.

Second Day

The second day finally came , the week had gone so fast! It felt like it was 2 days in a row! 

The day started off normal and the workers in the salon were excited as the Official Opening Night was the next day on the 4th Of October. I started off by organising the outside of the salon and cleaning around. I had fun organising the place.

After lunch when I came back I got to sit in on my employer doing shellac nails. I enjoyed this as I learnt how to do shellac nails and they turned out really nice. I also minded reception for a while when the workers were gone for a few minutes.

My employer was very nice and also gave me more lunch , we sat and had a lovely chat with her. 

I also helped give out sheets to fill out for clients.

Overall the day was great and I loved my second day

The Nerve-Wrecking First Day

Like everyone else , I woke up nervous and excited. I was looking forward to the day ahead and was happy to get started soon:)

I arrived at the Beauty House and one of my supervisors Jenny was very welcoming to me. When my 2 other supervisors Nuala and Sandra arrived they were also very helpful and kind to me.

I started the day off by sorting the nail varnish out in the nail room and I enjoyed it. I went to the shop for them gladly to buy them some items. I helped around the salon and went home for my break then.

When I arrived back to the salon I organised one of the rooms as a photographer was coming to take pictures of the salon. Throughout the day I helped the supervisors with little bits.

The day had gone so fast and finally it was 4 o' clock and time to go home. Overall I enjoyed the day and I am looking forward to next week already. The supervisors were very nice and I am glad I got to meet them.
